Family Pricing

When I became a mom my number one goal was to make sure there were always new photos of my family in the house. I went years with the same photo on my parent's living room wall and I hated that picture because I was chubby not to mention sick in that photo and my mom didn't take us back for photos again until I was an adult and pregnant with my 4th kid lol. so nearly 20 years! Anyhow, I think family photos are important and I think everyone should have them done at least once a year which means I keep my price listing for these pretty low. I know that you can go to any big chain photography studio and get the $10 package of unedited pictures and spend a $100 or more on getting them printed off, but why not find yourself a great photographer with a great price for photos that you'll be proud to hang on your wall and hand out to family?

Each family session is $175, this includes an hour of indoor or outdoor photos at the location of your choice as well as 20 edited photos and a proof book. Your photos are then uploaded to shootproof for you viewing and you can order photos directly through there at amazing prices! 

*note: this pricing is available for household/immediate family only, for photos with extended family (aunts, grandma, cousins, etc.) we can discuss pricing as needed.*

Kyri Easter

I was so excited to see little Miss Kyri back in the studio, she however wasn't excited to see me haha. I had to bring in my back up, aka my daughter, to get a smile out of her but we finally did and we got some amazingly cute shots of her.She's such a doll and has wonderful parents. They brought in this giant Easter chick which worked perfect for our Easter theme, I need to find one to keep for myself lol. I can't wait to take her birthday pictures this summer, I'm bringing in my secret weapon for sure!

Kassidy's Easter Mini

Last weekend I had a couple of cuties in for Easter mini's. I was so excited to meet the Amidon family, they're newish in town like I am so it was great to meet fellow newbies and I was sooooo happy to meet Miss Kassidy. Omgosh, she had the most contagious smile, she had me grinning the whole time! I had quite the mess to clean up when she left though, that green basket filler was the greatest thing since sliced bread for her! She had it every where! but it was totally worth it :) The whole family is just adorable and a blast to meet, can't wait to see them again!

Arnold Boys

Are they not the cutest brothers? This shoot actually had to be rescheduled because the weather was terribly cold the first date but 2 weeks later it was beautiful and sunny, enough that they could wear shorts and I was sweating! That's Nebraska weather for ya!

Every one, meet Landon, he's got a quirky smile and a bit of a 'tude, but we got along just fine! and Bentley, sweet little boy with a bit of camera shyness but he eventually warmed up to me. We had so much fun running around that park, climbing up on rocks and kicking the ball around. It was great to meet this family, truly hope to see them again!

Meet Jax 6 days old

Meet the newest addition to my family, Jaxton Thomas Carey. Born March 10 to my baby brother and his girlfriend at a whopping 9lb 6oz! He was bigger than my biggest! I had to wait 6 days to meet him but it was so worth it. He's adorable with those chubby cheeks and incredibly peaceful. If all babies were this way the world would be greater...or over populated lol. The day was perfect, the light was perfect, I'm just in love with him and how these photos turned out.

Here's some with mom and dad I love too. He had not issues being jostled from one person to the other, seriously I would keep him if I could!

Maternity Pricing

Oh maternity pictures, the one time in your entire pregnancy that you can really feel beautiful right?! I know for me it was sweat pants and t-shirts every other day. But not this, not the day you get to photograph yourself in all your pregnancy glory, that beautiful belly bump, and the "glow" that everyone else but you sees. But seriously, capture this moment, it truly is the most beautiful moment of your entire life (except for the moment when your baby is born of course). Pregnant women are gorgeous and stunning pieces of art no matter what stage of pregnancy they are in. I'm so grateful to be able to provide this types of photographs for you because it's a glorious moment in your life that you may or may not have again.
 Maternity photos are best scheduled around 7-8 months because some of them like to show up a little earlier than expected. You pick your package and bring along any props you'd like to use and up to 3 clothing changes.

Basic Maternity Package: $175

This package includes an hour long indoor or outdoor session with just you, you and dad, or the whole family. Its all about you so you choose the types of photos you'd like, whether they be elegant, fun, or a mixture of all types of ideas. I want you to feel comfortable so if you're not into baring all for the world to see, thats fine by me (I wasn't either). Bring your ideas to the table because I have ideas of my own of course but it's your belly and your baby, I'm here to capture what you want me to capture.

Combine and Save Package: $350

This Package includes the maternity and newborn session($200). Full payment must be made at time of Maternity session.

Newborn Pricing

If you don't know already, I love babies, that's why I had 4 of course :) Unfortunately the newborn stage is so short lived which is why its important to get those tiny little moments documented forever. Tiny toes and fingernails only last a little while so as a mother I find that newborn photos will be the most valuable thing you'll ever have. I made sure to have photos of my children done so that I could hold onto those moments forever and I want to be able to do that for you as well. I want to make sure that I capture every little piece of those precious new babies before they grow up too fast and you're dreaming of the days when their little fingers would wrap around yours while they slept and the way they randomly smiled while they slept. Ahh those were the days...

I have a great newborn packages for varying budgets. With all packages I recommend scheduling with me within a few months of finding out you are pregnant. I say this because newborn photos are best taken within the first couple weeks of life. These days are when baby is most sleepy and willing to cooperate for all of those newborn poses you are dying to have. I am willing of course to go past the two weeks it just means we won't necessarily have sleeping photos which sometimes means baby is a little less happy as well and ends up being a less than enjoyable experience for you and your baby.

First 48 Package: $100

Photo of 1 day old Shaye at Bryan LGH Hospital in Lincoln, NE

This package is includes a 1 hour photo session taken within the first 48 hours, whether at home or in the hospital. Photos may include many many things, including baby's first bath, first time grandma holds her new grand baby, siblings meeting the baby, and of course mommy and me time, unlike the photos the hospital photographers usually take. You'll receive 20 edited photos in a proof book of these first moments and order photos a la carte.

Newborn Package: $200 

With this package you  get up to 2 hours of session time. We will pose baby, play dress up, and capture every precious piece of that sweet new baby. You'll receive 20 edited proofs and may order photos a la carte.

Combine and Save Package: $300

With this package you will get both the "First 48" and "Newborn" package together. This is another reason I recommend contacting me early in your pregnancy so I know to keep open times within your due date time frame.

Grow With Me Package: $200+$125($100)*

These photos are taken from Newborn-2 years. The first session is $250 and then each milestone session is just $125. You can utilize these session whenever you'd like, whether it be every 3 months or every 6 months. Its a great way to capture those first couple of years for a great price! With each session you will get one hour of shoot time and 20 proofs for every one. (newborn session is still 2 hours). You may either purchase the digital copy along with print release or order photos a la carte.

The Johnson Family

I've known Andy and Amanda for more than 8 years now and I can't tell you enough how much I love their family. They've always been kind and warm hearted and their boys follow in their footsteps. I was so excited when Amanda asked me to do their family photos last spring! They were one of my first paying customers so I felt totally blessed that they were willing to take a chance and let me photograph her beautiful little family. I tell you, Jayden and Rylan are the cutest and most well behaved little boys ever! I can't wait to see them again!

Back to School Photos in York, NE

I did two different families on this day so I'm gonna put them both in one post since they came together for my Back-to-School special.

First up is the Abell sisters, all super adorable and age range is 4-8 if I remember right. Perfect skin, great smiles, and beautiful green eyes! I think the one looks like Hayden Panetierre, don't you?! They were all fun, and cute, and I'm so glad I was able to meet these darling sisters. Hope to see them again next year!

I also got to photograph Kolby and Tegan, another adorable couple of siblings. I've heard about them for a long long time and was finally able to meet them. Mom is a friend of a friend that I've had the pleasure of hanging out with a couple of times, and she's totally fun so I knew her kiddos would be too. Kolby is a lady's man, I tell you what, with his amazing eyes and smile mom better be waiting on the porch with a shot gun. And Tegan, she remind me so much of my own Teagan (who was my assistant this day), cute and shy, but smart and beautiful at the same time.

Lacey and Aj

As a girl you grow up talking with your friends about getting married, being in each other's weddings, how many kids you'll have and planning to have those kids at the same time. It doesn't always work out how you planned does it? On a good note, having one of those friends pregnant long after you're done having your own children means you can comfortably take amazing shots of her beautiful pregnancy. These were done in July 2013 at Sunken Gardens in Lincoln, it was a perfect evening, and although the park was extremely busy I think we got it done. Lacey was gorgeous and big brother AJ, although somewhat camera shy, had a great time as well.
